Michael Kranitz has been building and flying radio control aircraft since 1974.  He specializes in scale helicopters.  Kranitz is President and co-founder of RCUniverse.com, the world's largest Web community for radio control hobby enthusiasts.

 

In 2000, Kranitz began flying radio control helicopters.  He has since built more than 20 helicopters, including a 1/5th scale Twinstar with an O.S. Engines .91.  Kranitz also flies sailplanes and ducted fan electric airliners.
